As you may already know, at Kids In the Kingdom, we encourage you to learn all you can about living life in the Son, God’s Son, Jesus Christ!
How do we learn all we can about living life in the Son? From the Bible. The Bible is a collection of writings, writings which we call books. They are messages and stories of God’s involvement in past history that were written as men spoke from God as they were inspired by God to record His word to us. As God’s children, the word in the Bible can guide you in how to live your lives in fellowship with Him. To give yourself a great opportunity to learn all you can about living life in the Son, we encourage you to read, read, read. Think on what you read. Ponder it in your heart. You will find, God will bring it to your rembembrance when you most need it to guide you in life’s decisions.
If you do not have a Bible, and if you attend a church, your church might be able to give you a Bible. If your church isn’t able to do so, and you aren’t able to get a Bible for yourself, you can read the Bible online.
If you haven’t read the Bible yet, we encourage you to start in the New Testament, in the first chapter of the Gospel of John.
Another good option for any kid in God’s kingdom who is beginning to read the Bible, is a children’s Bible. Here is a children’s Bible which presents portions of the Bible which are key in helping you to get the overall picture of God’s teaching for you. It is The Children’s Bible and it presents over 200 stories from the Bible.
