Strong in God’s Son
Did you know? In the last book in the Bible, in the revelation of Jesus Christ, it says that God loves those who keep His word and that He releases them from their sins. God releases them from their sins by the blood that Jesus shed on the cross. Think of that, being released from their sins. Is that you? If you have kept God’s word while believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, then that is you! That is us!
The revelation goes on to say that God made us into a kingdom!
Yes, that is right, those whom He has released from their sins, He has made into a kingdom.

God’s strength is essential
to keep yourself fit in Christ
so you can walk in life
as a kid in the kingdom ~ with the crown of life
Do you remember King David? He ruled as the king of the nation of Israel in God’s covenant with the Israelites. Your king, Jesus, rules as a king too. He is the king of a holy nation. In God’s covenant with us today, the disciples of Christ are the holy nation.
King Jesus is He who is holy, who is true, who has the key of David, who opens what no one will shut, and who shuts what no one will open. The power to open and to shut, with the key of David, what no one else can shut or open, is the power of the king ~ King Jesus. With this absolute power, Jesus is the King of kings!
With the key of David
Jesus shuts and opens
what no one will open or shut
with absolute power
Jesus is the King of kings
In the Bible it says “I am coming quickly; hold firmly to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.” Many, many years ago, there was a church about whom God said, “Because you have kept My word of perseverance, I also will keep you.” As He did for them, He will do for you. God will keep you when you hold firmly to what you have and keep His word of perseverance. As you grow in Jesus Christ, you will be strengthened to persevere and you will be always of good courage while you stay ready, watching for Christ to return.
Jesus Christ will return, any day and at any hour. We do not know the day or the hour, so hold onto what you have ~ the crown of life.
